Join Meg Galarza and Amy Cunningham for an intimate Women's Yoga Retreat at the brand-new Mixto luxury villa on an island off the coast of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Our retreat experience includes daily yoga, and plenty of free time to explore the local town or sign up for an excursion. There is free use of kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkeling equipment, and the ability to add surf lessons, a cooking class, or a spa service.
MIXTO VILLA
Mixto is a tropical oasis nestled in the heart of a picturesque Mexican fishing village, right on the doorstep of a charming beach. Immerse yourself in the idyllic charm of Quimixto, where the lively sounds of folklore mingle with the warmth and hospitality of the townspeople.
Deeply connected to the land, Mixto is designed to enhance your feeling of connection with nature.
Enjoy this magical setting from two villas with a private deck and pool. At the top of each villa sits a dreamlike penthouse with an elegant bed and a palapa roof. One villa has four cozy and peaceful rooms overlooking the ocean, while the other villa has a kitchen and open-air dining area.
Each of the four Beach Rooms (450 sq ft each) can be set up with either two twin beds or one king bed and also has a day bed. Each of the penthouses (865 sq ft each) has one king bed that can be set up as two twin beds if needed, and a day bed. All rooms have ocean views, private bathrooms, WiFi, a safe for your personal items, and AC.
Your week on retreat will include:
A morning Vinyasa Flow Yoga class appropriate for all levels to awaken & energize. Evening Sunset Gentle Yoga practice to recuperate and restore.
Three delicious meals per day beginning with dinner on Saturday evening and ending with breakfast on the last morning. If you have any food allergies, or sensitivities, don’t worry we can modify all meals to meet your needs.
Plenty of free time to explore, chill by our private pool or use the complimentary kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkeling equipment.
The opportunity to add surfing lessons, a cooking class to learn about the local cuisine or one-on-one holistic wellness coaching sessions

Beach Room Triple Occupancy $2,100/person
These rooms are on either the first or second floor and are set up with two twin beds and a sofa bed. They have AC and a private bathroom
Beach Room Double Occupancy $2,400/person
These rooms are on either the first or second floor and are set up with two twin beds (or one king bed for a couple) and a sofa bed. They have AC and a private bathroom.
Penthouse Triple Occupancy $2,500/person
Penthouse Double Occupancy $3000/person
This room is on the top floor and is set up with one king bed and two sofa beds. It has AC and a private bathroom.

Retreat rate includes:
7 nights accommodations at Mixto Villas
Three delicious meals per day (dinner only on arrival day and breakfast only on departure day) and water, coffee, and tea throughout the day
Daily yoga sessions
Use of kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkeling equipment
Shuttle service included: a transfer by taxi or van from the airport to Terminal Maritima and a transfer by boat to Mixto. Any guest arriving after 4:30 PM will be required to find and pay for their own accommodations in Puerto Vallarta and will be transferred in the morning.
The retreat rate does not include:
Airfare to/from Mexico
Spa treatments or additional excursions
Alcoholic drinks
Gratuities for the staff at the villas (recommendation is $20/night/guest to be split between all staff
TRAVEL INFORMATION
Mixto is only accessible by boat, there is no road leading to the resort. Guests should book an arrival flight into Puerto Vallarta that lands no later than 4:00 PM on February 1st and a departure flight that takes off no earlier than 12:00 PM on February 8th.
All guests arriving to the airport after 4:30 PM (as scheduled or due to delays or flight cancellations) will have to find their own accommodations at their own expense for the evening and will be transferred to Mixto the following morning. They will receive a new transfer schedule and instructions notice by email in a timely manner.
NO transportation service will be provided if the arrival flight lands after 4:30 pm on the arrival day or departs before 12:00 pm on the departure day. For safety reasons, the guests will need to spend the night in Puerto Vallarta, Mixto will not be responsible for the hotel night in Puerto Vallarta as we are letting the retreat planner know in advance about the flight times.
Please note a valid passport is required, it must be valid for 6 months after the date of travel.
It is highly recommended to obtain travel insurance.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All payments are final, there are no refunds.
A non-refundable deposit of $500 to save your spot, and full payment is due November 1, 2024. Once you make your deposit, we will follow up with an email to arrange a payment and more travel information.
